The University Library kicked start the week-long celebration of the 89th NBW and 33rd LIS Month with enthusiasm from 20-26 November 2023 with its exciting line-up of activities: Best Thesis Display, On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest, Storytelling Contest, Spoken Word Poetry Contest and embarked on a Community Outreach activity at Brgy. Tuntungin Putho.
Capturing the moment as we recognize the unwavering dedication and loyalty of our outstanding employees as we celebrate the 101st Founding Anniversary of UP System Libraries, with the theme, “Centennial Resilience: Navigating Excellence and Public Service in UP System Libraries.”
Gratitude to the UPLB Administration, led by Chancellor Jose V. Camacho, Jr., for their unwavering support in making this event a reality. A big thank you to our newly minted Vice Chancellor, Dr. Agham Cuevas, and Vice Chancellor Roland Bello for the support and for gracing our celebration. Special recognition to our former Vice Chancellor, Jean O. Loyola, and Asst. Vice Chancellor Roselle Collado for the incredible support over the past three years.
Appreciation also goes to the Deans and Directors of the different Colleges for their presence and support.
