University Library holds 1st national webinar on AI technology

The Staff Training and Development Committee of the UPLB University Library successfully organized the inaugural national webinar, “AI Technology: Challenges and Opportunities in Library Services,” on May 26. 

The event took place via virtual conferencing and was streamed live on the University Library’s official Facebook page.

ADVISORY : Last Day of Book Borrowing!

Please be informed that the LAST DAY of book borrowing is on 02 June 2023 (Friday).

Starting 05 June 2023 (Monday), all books and other Library Materials can be borrowed for ROOM USE ONLY.

We would also like to encourage everyone to RETURN all borrowed books before the end of the semester for INVENTORY purposes.

Kindly keep in mind the dates mentioned above.

MAY is National Heritage Month!

The UPLB University Library joins the nation in celebrating Philippines’ rich culture and history.

With the theme “Heritage: Change and Continuity”, the celebration aims to emphasize the dynamic nature of both heritage and heritage preservation as fields that are constantly changing and innovating. It also highlights the enduring legacies of Filipino traditions amidst rapidly changing national and global contexts.

Come and visit our Exhibit at the Main Library Lobby which showcase some of our collections and trivias about the nation’s cultural history.

The UPLB Library Staff Training and Development Committee invites you to a webinar on “AI Technology: Challenges and Opportunities in the Library Services” on the 26th of May 2023, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 NN to be held virtually via Zoom and FB live stream.

The objectives of the webinar are to equip the participants with knowledge of AI and its impact on libraries, enable them to conduct research related to library services and develop library services and programs using AI technology.
