Library provides materials and services to meet the instructional, research and extension needs of the various constituents of the University.
The University Library is composed of 11 college/unit libraries and one High School Library, this constitute the UPLB Libraries and Information Network (UPLiBNet), which was formerly launched in 1999. UPLiBNet worked together to fulfill their main goal, which is to provide materials and services to meet the University’s trilogy of function: instruction, research and extension.
As a depository Library, it continuously receives publications from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), World Bank (WB), United Nations University (UNU) and United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT). It also contributes to the International Information System for Agricultural Services and Technology (AGRIS) Database being a Resource Center and to the Electronic Union Catalog of the Philippine eLib Project.
